In the mist-choked forests of Appalachia, rebellion has taken root. Shenandoah drops you into an alternate 1980s America, where federal forces clash with entrenched rural militias in the rolling hills and shadowy ridgelines of Virginia.

This is a persistent, open-world multiplayer shooter where players choose a side—The Free State or the Federal Stabilization Corps—and engage in asymmetric warfare across a seamless, war-torn region. Scavenge, build, fortify, and strike. Victory isn’t won in one battle—it's bled for, one ridge at a time.

Key Features

  • Persistent Territory Control: Factions fight for key strongholds like logging camps, radio towers, and old coal facilities. Capture zones remain under your team's control until overrun, changing the map over time.
  • Crafting, Fortifications & Logistics: Use salvaged materials to craft weapons, gear, and construct bunkers, AA nests, and field bases. Every crate of supplies, every fuel can, every homemade radio tower—it's all player-built.
  • Persistent World: The server never resets. Control zones, player-built structures, and faction influence evolve over days and weeks. You’re fighting a real-time war.
  • Stealth Meets Strategy: Utilize thick forests, winding back roads, and underground tunnels to outmaneuver better-equipped enemies. Your best weapon is knowing the land.
  • Squad-Based Combat: Coordinate in 8-player fireteams with local VOIP, radios, and map markers. Ambush convoys, sabotage infrastructure, or go loud with full-scale assaults.
  • Tactical Vehicle Warfare: Helicopters, technicals, dirt bikes, and makeshift armored trucks are your tools of mobility. Airlift supplies, hot-drop squads, or buzz enemy camps before vanishing into the trees.

Factions

The Valley Free State: Guerrilla militia made up of farmers, veterans, and survivalists. Wield improvised weapons, booby traps, and local intel. Outgunned—but never outmatched.

Federal Stabilization Corps (FSC): A well-funded, high-tech military force sent to “restore order.” Better gear, better firepower—but unfamiliar terrain and limited trust from locals.
